Eco Club
The Eco Club in our college promotes environmental awareness and sustainable practices among students. It organizes tree plantation drives, waste management initiatives, and cleanliness campaigns to create a greener campus. The club also conducts awareness programs, seminars, and competitions on eco-friendly practices. Special events like World Environment Day and Earth Day are celebrated to encourage environmental responsibility. Through its activities, the club inspires students to adopt a sustainable lifestyle and protect nature.
Objectives
- To motivate the students to keep their environment green and clean by undertaking plantation of trees.
- To encourage students to imbibe habits and lifestyle for minimum waste generation, separation of waste and disposing the waste to the nearest storage point.
- To organise programmes such as quiz, essay writing, painting, slogan writing, elocution competitions, rallies, etc., regarding various environmental issues and to educate youth about reuse of waste material and preparation of products out of waste.
