Environment Club plays a yeomen service in creating an awareness among the youngsters to protect the environment and nurture it. It encourages them to keep their surrounding clean and green inside and outside the campus. Students participate in activities related to Biodiversity Conservation, Water Conservation, Energy Conservation, Waste Management, and outreach activities which attracts the public support for environmental intervention.

Objectives:

• To motivate the students to keep their environment green and clean by undertaking plantation of trees.

• To encourage students to imbibe habits and lifestyle for minimum waste generation, separation of waste and disposing the waste to the nearest storage point.

• To organise programmes such as quiz, essay writing, painting, slogan writing, elocution competitions, rallies, etc., regarding various environmental issues and to educate youth about reuse of waste material and preparation of products out of waste.
